Acne Studios for Frédéric Malle is an intense thrill of fresh aldehydes, veiled by the sweetness of flowers, peach, and vanilla, warmed by creamy sandalwood and white musk. Frédéric Malle wanted to capture its spirit and create an olfactory reflection of the generous aesthetic of Acne Studios.

'The goal was to create a fragrance that wasn't too conceptual; it had to have a classicism but combined with a kitsch that bounces off it,' explains the fragrance's creator.

We discussed how to evoke softness, as if you were wearing an Acne Studios scarf, but the most important distinctive elements of the fragrance are the aldehydes: they are what make it very light and luminous and give it a lot of energy, contrasting with the floral and powdery elements and the comforting, creamy sandalwood.
